The leaders of a regional economic initiative in southwest Indiana are hoping to receive federal stimulus grants to help fund the effort.
Project GREEN Co-Chairman Joshua Pack says now that a consultant has outlined strategies to harness the area's energy strengths, those behind the initiative can try to identify funding sources, which could include money from the American Recovery and Reinvest Reinvestment Act. He says Project GREEN remains focused on boosting the region's clean energy manufacturing sector.
