The region’s academic institutions are great assets in the communities they serve.
Inspired educators realize that their labors not only enrich lives and expand individuals’ opportunities but also that these efforts play a key role in long-term economic sustainability of the region.
Southwest Indiana needs to do more to support and develop training in the science, technology, engineering and math programs required to foster the development of scientists, engineers and technicians that will be needed in the advanced energy fields.
