Existing Manufacturers
Southwest Indiana has a strong manufacturing economy, and Project GREEN research has revealed that many of the local incumbent manufacturers may have strong opportunities in a variety of energy technology supply chains, such as wind, nuclear, and solar.

But tapping each of these opportunities requires the coordination of multiple efforts, such as capabilities assessments, building industry relationships, and retooling production lines and worker skill sets. Project GREEN will serve as the facilitator of these efforts on behalf of manufacturers and other regional partners pursuing these new markets.

New Investors
A key aspect of growing the energy manufacturing base is the attraction of a major new energy OEM to the region. With this in mind, Project GREEN will serve as an integral resource for regional economic developers and energy companies siting new facilities. This means serving as a clearinghouse for energy market data and other strategic information.
